![]() rather than get a new adaptor and probably have to get a new one every so often i want a bridge/patch bay where i can split and take signals in the direction i want them to. i plug the midi to the Mother 32 and its fine. If you don't care about the interface aspect, you can get the pre USB version (serial/parallel) for closer to 50. On the other side im trying to solve a problem, my Moog Subharmonicon came with a midi to patch adaptor and it worked like a charm for the first few sessions but the other day i plugged it in and the thing is jumping all over the place tempo rushes and drags randomly rendering the connection unusable and i suppose its cuz the little adaptor is busted. A used USB MOTU Miditimepiece AV goes for about 100 on eBay, and it functions as an 8 port interface (8x8) and as a standalone patchbay. On one side because i feel like it would be veery useful to control multiple pieces of gear at once from my daw with one MIDI output. ![]() ![]() I keep searching but i cant find any!!! there has to be a way. and ideally it would output both! patch and midi so i have the option depending on the piece of gear im controlling w that output. I need a unit that i can input a MIDI cable to and it’ll separate the midi channels into patch cable outputssss. maybe someone here can point me in the right direction. So im looking for something but it seems like its rather difficult to find. Keep posts and discussion related to modular synthesis. Please avoid low-effort posts like image macros or fill-in-the-template memes. If you're posting plans for a first rack for critique/suggestions, consider starting small! It is recommended not to exceed 7U, 168hp ( Dimensions of a Popular Intellijel Case), since your needs will likely change as you start using your modular and learning more about what can be done.
